Telling The Stories – Making History Come Alive

The New Mexico Jewish Historical Society not only collects the contributions and tells the stories of Jewish people in the civic, cultural, business, and spiritual life of the territory and state but also researches the rich history of Jewish New Mexico. Learn about scholars and scientists, business people, ranchers, farmers, community leaders, politicians, journalists and filmmakers, novelists and poets, artists and musicians, to broaden your understanding of Jewish participation throughout New Mexico’s complex history up to the present day. We invite you to join us on a five hundred year historical journey.
