Join us in Las Vegas for our 32nd Annual Conference, as we return to the historic Plaza Hotel after a seven-year hiatus. This conference will focus on 20th Century Jews and Jewish organizations that have made an impact on the cultural, socio-political, scientific, and economic landscape both in New Mexico and the U.S. Speakers and session leaders include artists, poets, scientists, social activists, and leading New Mexico families, many from the Las Vegas and northern New Mexico area. Optional activities include a pre-Conference Tour of the Montezuma Castle (by pre-registration) and a self-guided Walking Tour of the Historic Plaza area.

Conference Accommodations are available at the Historic Plaza Hotel. 20 – 25 rooms are set aside on a first-come, first -serve basis. The rooms will be released one week before the conference, although lodging may remain available. Breakfast is NOT included in the room rate but a Sunday morning breakfast buffet IS included as part of the full conference registration. Be sure to mention the conference when making your reservation. Pre-and post- conference rates are available to guests arriving and departing three days on either side based upon availability.
The cut-off date for sleeping rooms is October 28, 2017. The hotel will continue to accept reservations after October 28th on a space available basis.
Amenities include: complimentary parking and hi-speed wireless internet in all guest rooms.

Rooms are all unique with antiques and full baths.

*NMJHS conference attendees making reservations prior to the cut-off date will receive an extra 10% discount on the room rate before taxes.
Las Vegas Train Station
Daily Amtrak Service is available from Albuquerque and Lamy. Please check with Amtrak for current schedule and rates. Those choosing Amtrak will need to depart on Friday for Las Vegas to arrive in time for the Saturday program. www.Amtrak.com or call 1-800-872-7245
Limited taxi service is available to and from the train station to the Plaza Hotel. There is no hotel shuttle service available.
